Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Audio Operator to support and operate audio equipment for our events. As an Audio Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all audio equipment is set up and operated correctly, and that all events run smoothly from a technical standpoint.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate audio equipment for events
- Troubleshoot technical issues during events
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and stored
- Work with event coordinators to ensure that all technical requirements are met
- Work with other technicians and staff members to ensure that events run smoothly
- Maintain a safe working environment for all staff and attendees
- Keep up-to-date with the latest audio technologies and equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience in event production or technical theater
- Ability to set up and operate audio equipment for events
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues during events
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of current audio technologies and equipment is a plus
