Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Event Operation Technician to support and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment for our events. As an Event Operation Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is set up and operated correctly, and that all events run smoothly from a technical standpoint.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment for events
- Troubleshoot technical issues during events
- Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and stored
- Work with event coordinators to ensure that all technical requirements are met
- Work with other technicians and staff members to ensure that events run smoothly
- Maintain a safe working environment for all staff and attendees
- Keep up-to-date with the latest audio, video, and lighting technologies and equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent experience in event production or technical theater
- Ability to set up and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment for events
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues during events
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of current audio, video, and lighting technologies and equipment is a plus
